Kubiak that he was taking the Raiders job after winning the Super Bowl, and it's only natural to believe that some of Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald's staff will follow him. According to , one name to keep an eye on is Seahawks defensive a sistant and defensive backs coach, Neiko Thorpe. "Klint Kubiak could bring Seahawks Defensive a sistant/DB coach Neiko Thorpe with him to Las Vegas," Moton wrote. Moton didn't say what job Thorpe could take, but defensive coordinator or pa s-game coordinator could be on the table. Thorpe already Alexander Mogilny Jersey has ties to the Raiders, and not just through Kubiak. Thorpe was with the Raiders for two seasons in 2014 and 2015. Thorpe got into coaching as an intern with Seattle in 2022 and has risen up the ranks ever since. He became a defensive a sistant in 2023, served as a player engagement and football operations a sistant in 2024, and then served as defensive backs coach and defensive a sistant in 2025. In his first year as defensive backs coach, he oversaw one of the best units in the NFL and had a hand in the development of star rookie safety Nick Emmanwori. He also learned under one of the best defensive minds in the NFL in Macdonald. While we would not mind seeing Thorpe in Las Vegas in some capacity, our belief is the Raiders need an experienced defensive coordinator, especially with Kubiak being a first-time head coach.
